URGENT: Material Handler – Overnight Shift
Location: Farmingdale
Pay Rate: $18 - $20hr
Shift: Overnight | 8:00 AM – 4:00 AM (12-Hour Shift)
Start Date: TOMORROW
Job Overview
We are seeking an immediate, dependable Material Handler to join our team in SUFFOLK, NY, starting tomorrow. You will handle receiving, moving, and organizing materials to keep day-shift operations running safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload, move, and stage incoming/outgoing materials and inventory safely.
- Load/unload pallets, trucks, or containers manually or using material handling equipment (hand trucks, pallet jacks, Forklifts )
- Organize warehouse storage areas and maintain precise inventory records.
- Follow all workplace safety guidelines and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Immediate Availability: Must be ready to report to work tonight at 8:00 AM.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand/walk for a 12-hour shift and regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable Transportation: Must have dependable transit to and from our Syosset, NY location.
- Experience: Prior warehouse, material handling, or overnight shift experience preferred (not strictly required if reliable and hard-working).
- Mindset: work ethic, attention to detail, and a focus on safety.
