Registered Nurse - CVICU is sought for a travel assignment in Pocatello, Idaho. Unit: CVICU within a Level II trauma facility offering comprehensive stroke care and an advanced cardiac/open‑heart program (20 beds; typical daily census ~15). Responsibilities
- Provide post‑cardiac surgery and critical care management for adult/geriatric patients, including CABG, valve procedures, and complex neuro/trauma cases
- Perform hemodynamic monitoring (arterial lines, CVP, PA/Swan‑Ganz) and manage vasoactive/antiarrhythmic drips
- Lead care for mechanical circulatory support devices as applicable (IABP, Impella; ECMO infrequent)
- Manage ventilator support, high‑flow oxygen, and tracheostomy care; respond to respiratory emergencies
- Monitor and respond to neuro status (ICP/EVD), perform bedside procedures (chest tubes, TEE, trachs) as needed
- Support central/arterial line care, blood product administration, CRRT/Tablo therapies, and renal failure management

Requirements
- Active RN license in Idaho or a state (compact) license in-hand at submittal
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required; PALS/TNCC preferred
- Minimum 2 years RN experience; charge experience preferred; Level II trauma/CVICU experience preferred
- Travel experience not required
- RTO (requested time off) must be listed at submittal
- Onboarding: core items/labs completed within 48 hours of contract signing
- 50‑mile radius rule: No local candidates; must comply
